Seinabo Sey is young, but obviously a very bright star in the sky of the Swedish music scene. With Swedish and Gambian roots, she started her musical career early by attending a music program. When she was 16 she moved to Stockholm and later she graduated from the Fryshusets esthetics program. She specialized in soul music. Even though she is still at the very beginning of her career, she has already received several awards including a Swedish Grammy award (Best Newcomer of 2014).

The moment Positivus had so patiently waited for – an amazing M83 performance at the end of the 2^nd day of festival. This French electronic music group brought their synthpop/ambient vibe to Positivus stage making everyone cheer as loud as possible.

Originally Vladislavs Nastavševs is a theatre producer from Latvia, but he is also known for his amazing musical pieces which consists of him playing the piano and singing… singing like no one has ever sung before, because his voice can go to unbelievably high notes which sound just magical.

Positivus 2^nd day included Latvian Radio Big Band & Ralfs Eilands. They performed Latvia’s musical legend Raimonds Pauls‘ music. This year the Maestro celebrates his 80^th birthday, so Latvian Radio Big Band played most of his best pieces by adding a bit of a modern touch to them. Also – Latvian Radio Big Band orchestra is turning 50 this years, so Positivus, Raimonds Pauls and Latvian Radio Big Band orchestra can celebrate their birthdays together! And of course, the main vocalist Ralfs Eilands – a young, handsome, talented and eager singer - adds a bit of a jazzy sound. Positivus for sure enjoyed his charming interaction with the crowd and Latvian Radio Big Band orchestra’s epic instrumental accompaniment.

British electronica trio Years and Years consists of three wonderful musicians – frontman Olly Alexander, bass guitar player Mikey Goldsworthy and on keyboards/beats Emre Turkmen. They have been sharing their music with the world since 2010 and Positivus for sure hopes that this is not the last time they visit Latvia.
