Recensie Seinabo Sey

Seinabo Sey is young, but obviously a very bright star in the sky of the Swedish music scene. With Swedish and Gambian roots, she started her musical career early by attending a music program. When she was 16 she moved to Stockholm and later she graduated from the Fryshusets esthetics program. She specialized in soul music. Even though she is still at the very beginning of her career, she has already received several awards including a Swedish Grammy award (Best Newcomer of 2014).

It is absolutely clear though that she captivated the audience of Positivus Festival not only with her convincing vocal skills but also with her warm and sweet attitude towards the audience, telling stories about her heartbreaks and reminding that everyone is special and deserves the best. The audience adored her, especially for her song Younger.
